  • [28th March 2014] — W.E.F. 1st April 2014 FSSAI will only be accepting payments through credit cards / debit card or Net Banking for Central Licensing through FLRS & for Import Clearance through FICS only.   • As per the advisory dated 6th Aug 2012 from FSSAI (click here to see details). The Product Approval process will be based on Indian Food Code categorization. If an FBO has taken approval for a product, then another manufacturer, need not to apply again for the approval of the same product. Traditional foods & local cuisine like atta, suji, dal, samosa, bhujia, etc need not to apply for Product Approval. FBOs who have valid license under Acts/orders can continue with their business during the processing of NOC or PA. The list of advisories issued till now for different products is on FSSAI website (27 MB file) and will be updated every Friday of week by the Authority.
